Joy Luck Seed Necklace
This is a special one.... These seeds were some of the little things that brought distinct memories of home to me when I lived across the world longing for the home I left by the coast. I was always intrigued by them as a child . Such an amazing deep coral red lying on the ground amidst the wet curled up tropical leaves during the kerala monsoon.
In Malayalam, my native language this is called the "Manjadikuru" from the " Kunda- Mani" Tree, which is the "good luck tree" found all over kerala, my home state. Its collected as and offering for the gods to bring good fortune and luck.
Some people wear solitaires , I wear the Manjadi Kuru proudly!
Wear it, keep the faith and always shine!
